Premier Dr. Zamani Saul Pledges Support for Education in Platfontein

Premier Dr. Zamani Saul visited donated R250 000 to Xunkwesa Combines School in Platfontein today. This follows his visit to the school earlier, to offer support to the class of 2025 and provide assistance as learners prepare for their final examinations.

In a statement, the office of the premier says, Saul also engaged with local Early Childhood Development practitioners, acknowledging their  role in laying a strong educational foundation. To support their work, he pledged a once-off R4,000 contribution to each of the 21 ECD practitioners in the region.

His office says, these efforts highlight the Northern Cape Government’s continued commitment to strengthening education across all stages, from early childhood through to matric.
